The 24th World Orchid Conference took place from 25 to 29 March 2026 in Dresden, Germany. We welcomed 1,005 registered participants from 56 countries across six continents, and the exhibition attracted a total of 56,000 visitors - far exceeding even our highest expectations.

We enjoyed cheerful social events, inspiring and in‑depth discussions during the conference presentations, more than 50 nurseries offering orchids and other plants, and a wonderful exhibition featuring 100 booths across 5,000 m² of display area. In total, 640 awards were presented to individual plants and exhibits, culminating in a remarkable selection of Champions of the Show.

With the closing ceremony on Sunday afternoon, the 24th WOC officially came to an end - and we now know where the 25th WOC will take place: Japan, in 2029. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all contributors, speakers, exhibitors, and visitors of WOC 2026, and we look forward to the possibility of meeting you again in Tokyo in 2029.
